It's a beautiful day out!

I'm hard pressed to remember a more perfect day this year, in fact.

Well there might have been a perfect day when I was, say, outdoors.

As opposed to indoors. Watching over my phone and my pooter.

I wanted to post yesterday, but I forgot and the morning slipped by. It sems that a lot of girls in my writers' group are slipping into a rut, too, as far as writing the morning pages and all. I suppose it's mildly ironic that I am picking up my novel again, in the face of all this slacking. A lot of which is being done by myself.

Here's a bit of sad news that I kind of want to get out of my system. A few days ago a girl named Sarah Fox disappeared from the face of the earth. She was an actress studying at Julliard, and it later turned out that she actually just lived a few blocks from where I lived in Inwood.

They discovered her body in a wooded section like 50 yards off the jogging path I (and apparently, she) used to run on.

People are sick. You can tell me a neighborhood is "up and coming" and "becoming more gentrified" but there are always going to be crazy people out there.

It's easier to just say that what happens is meant to happen.
