Agh!

I just lost another entry!

This one was all over the place, but I have made it my mission to update this thing at least three times a week. It is, after all, taking the place of my morning pages.

I had at least one thought this morning that was worth commenting on: I was going to note that I was for some reason working on my stupid book again with a fury and a determination that I haven't seen in myself in quite some time.

I mean, the thing is, it's almost become like a farce. It's a little silly, actually. I keep on saying I'm going ot finish it, and it never happens.

And yet, I can't let it go. Oi. We'll just have to keep plugging again.

I saw Jody last night for coffee. Can I just say how nice it is to have a good girlfriend close enough that we can just "pop by" and have a cup of coffee together? Of course it screwed my workout time this week and tonight will also be screwed for someting I planned weeks ago and forgot about...

Oi.

Kristin is back from Japan early. As much as I'm happy to hear she's back in town, I am of course not at all happy for the reason behind it: her mother passed away while she was gone. It was such a long ordeal that I'm sure there is some relief, and they've already really and truly mourned her, but so much has gone wrong for her family that I truly hoped that she'd at least be together with her family when it happened.

Ur. What else? ARFE has had another race dumped on us. I think that's a fabulous thing, actually, and our racers are truly truly great racers. I think they are in a good position to take great placing. Still, I'm totally swamped with stuff. And half my staff is out. I think it might be time to do some re-jiggering of responsibilities.

Ugh. Enough of that. I'm off to find a good embroiderer for ARFE shirts.
