what a wacked-out weekend.

jim and i drove to state college for the wilderness 101.

i don't know why it's 101. it was actually 100 miles. but who's counting?

poor jim has needed new riding gloves now forever. he had these heartbreaking raw spots on his little paws that made me want to cover them with cotton gauze and never let him do anything again.

(he'd laugh at that, since he's great about the housework and i'm terrible.)

i went to see Mike at his home in State College. we got to spend some time together at The Diner, which is home of this incredible concoction called the Grilled Sticky. It is just about the most sinful creation I have ever experienced. Absolutely incredible.

then, while little jimmy was riding his heart out, we went to the State College Brew Expo, which was just incredible. lots of incredible beers to sample. we had a great time. it was nice to spend time with mike; i haven't seen him in ages.
