today is my birfday!

[da na na na nah nahhhh!]

oi! it is a wonderful beautiful early fall day here in loverly new york city!

and it has been a very very good birfday so far.

i skipped my run this morning, which is pretty much par for the course these days.

but jim and i opened prezzies last night and i got a fab set of bose quiet comfort 2 headphones which is just awesome and also a car kit for my iPod and also FIVE lottery tickets and we won fifty dollars!

which means we broke even but oh well.

tonight is my big fab birfday party.

it's going to be buttloads of fun fun fun.

i am really looking forward to it.

there will be lots of people i haven't seen in a really long time, which is too cool for words.

see, this is why you have things like this: so you can see people you haven't seen in a really long time.

ah. it's good to have friends.

i suppose that's the one things i've really learned these past 30 years...how important it is to have such beings in your life.

these proqueen birthday parties are the one day of the year i get to really take stock and relish the people who have walked into my life!

so...for those of you who are reading?
