crap!
i feel like crap!
well. my belly hurts, anyway. all the same, it's day three of this, and it's nice (!) to have a reprieve from El Jeffe and his many faces. gack!
i've had a few days to get things done, but i've done nothing except for lie on the couch. fortunately, brains don't need a whole lot of exercise in order to get them percolating (although i know that some of my best ideas come during or after exercise), and i think at least i've got a few things up my sleeve.
i've made a few phone calls and have been thinking about how to approach the Dansk1n people again about getting on board with their web site for 05. i think the Divas will be a good fit for such a venture, and i need to get rolling on that before someone else has a brilliant idea like this and we all go beating our heads for not having been quicker about the thing.
anyway. that's done. it's funny how doing just one little thing, even if it's just placing a phone call or sending back a quick e-mail, can make you feel like you've gotten so much done...
in other news, i'm still not sending out resumes. is that lame? i think the new plan is to write my life away in the form of taking whatever damned book deal comes my way. is that so wrong?
i may have to bend, and subscribe to the freelance marketplace thing that's going up on mediabistro.com....
hm. clearly my muses are dragging me in another direction!
