We got a new couch.
It's fricken ginormous.
Our apartment looks a lot smaller. Goodness. Soon we will outgrow our little home. Our puppy is already outgrowing it, it seems. He is all over the place! Boundy boundy boundy...but he's still really really good. And still experiencing lots of separation anxiety. He went swimming again,this time with me and Jody at Round Valley. That girl is a fricken rocket. Anyway, it was fun. He only paddled about for a wee little bit but it was still nice to see him trying out the water.
Jim sent me flowers yesterday, isn't that nice? And he sent them--get this--"because you looked so content and peaceful this morning when I left that I felt very lucky."
WHO'S LUCKY? Me! I get flowers for sleeping! :)
Anyway, they were such a nice addition to the day, which was spent hungover.
Last night I went to the bookstore to pick up a few London tourguides, and you know what? I spent an HOUR in there! Almost entirely in the tour guide section! Good grief, I'm pathetic.
Our new couch has a fricken lot of pillows. I can't believe how cramped everythign is in here now. Yikes. I think I will have to find another way to store my books. It's just too much.
And yet I keep on acquiring them. Sigh.
